Ephesians 4:1....... urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

Jude 1:3 ........urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.

1Peter 2:11 ........urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. 2:12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

2 Corinthians 6:1 ..........urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 6:2 For he says,

"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."
I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

Romans 12:1 ....... urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 16:17 ....... urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 16:18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. 16:19 ............but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.

1 Thessalonians 5:14 ......urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. 5:16 Be joyful always; 5:17 pray continually; 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 5:19 Do not put out the Spirit's fire; 5:20 do not treat prophecies with contempt. 5:21 Test everything. Hold on to the good. 5:22 Avoid every kind of evil.

1 Timothy 2:1 ........urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2:2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 2:3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 2:4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 2:5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 2:6 who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time.
