Savior

Born Again

You must be born again !

John 3:3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. "

3:4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!"   3:5 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 3:6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.'  3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."    3:9 "How can this be?" Nicodemus asked. 3:10 "You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? 3:11 I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 3:12  I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 3:13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man. 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 3:15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 3:18  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 3:19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 3:20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."

1Peter 1:17 Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. 1:18  For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 1:19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 1:20 He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 1:21 Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. 1:23  For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. 1:24  For,

  "All men are like grass,
    and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,

1:25 but the word of the Lord stands forever."

And this is the word that was preached to you.

1Peter 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 2:3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

John 1:12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God-- 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

1JN 5:1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 5:2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 5:3 This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5:5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

1JN 5:18  We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the one who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. 5:20  We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true--even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [4] and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade--kept in heaven for you, [5] who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

James 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

Galatians 6:12 Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 6:13  Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your flesh. 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. 6:15 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. 6:16 Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God.

2 Corinthians 5:16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 5:18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 5:19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 5:20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 6:1 As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 6:2 For he says,

"In the time of my favor I heard you,
and in the day of salvation I helped you."
I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

Titus 3:3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 3:4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 3:7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
