Savior

Born Again

The Savior

1 John 4:14  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 4:15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.

Luke 2:11  Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.

John 4:42 ........, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."

Acts 5:30  The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead--whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. 5:31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel. 5:32 We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him."

Phillipians 3:18  For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 3:19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. 3:20  But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

2 Timothy 1:8  So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, 1:9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, 1:10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Titus 2:13  while we wait for the blessed hope--the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 2:14  who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

Titus 3:4  But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 3:6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 3:7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

Acts 13:16  Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: "Men of Israel and you Gentiles [Those who are not Jews] who worship God, listen to me! 13:17 The God of the people of Israel chose our fathers; he made the people prosper during their stay in Egypt, with mighty power he led them out of that country, 13:18 he endured their conduct for about forty years in the desert, 13:19 he overthrew seven nations in Canaan and gave their land to his people as their inheritance. 13:20 All this took about 450 years.
    "After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet. 13:21 Then the people asked for a king, and he gave them Saul son of Kish, of the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years. 13:22 After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: `I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'

Acts 13:23 "From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised. 13:24 Before the coming of Jesus, John preached repentance and baptism to all the people of Israel. 13:25 As John was completing his work, he said: `Who do you think I am? I am not that one. No, but he is coming after me, whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.'

Acts 13:26 "Brothers, children of Abraham, and you God-fearing Gentiles [Those who are not Jews], it is to us that this message of salvation has been sent. 13:27 The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath. 13:28 Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed. 13:29 When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb. 13:30 But God raised him from the dead, 13:31 and for many days he was seen by those who had traveled with him from Galilee to Jerusalem. They are now his witnesses to our people.

    for I will yet praise him,
    my Savior and my God.

    teach me your paths;

    25:5  guide me in your truth and teach me,

    and my hope is in you all day long.

    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

 Isaiah 43:11   I, even I, am the LORD,

and apart from me there is no savior.

 JUDE 1:24  To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy-- 1:25  to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
